[FIXED] License Expired Error (OneDrive Account)

Hello,

I am experiencing a issue with Insync:

License Expired Error
I purchased an Insync license some time ago to use with Linux. Today, when I launched the application, I received the following error:
Your license has expired. Please purchase a license to sync XXX@outlook.com to OneDrive.
I have already paid for my license, and my account is associated with my Outlook email address.

Could you please help me resolve the license recognition issue?
Thank you for your assistance.

Regards,
Piero

I have similar issues atm.
I guess there is some kind of issue with the service needed for licensing.
Would be nice if someone from insynchq could confirm / update on the issue

I have the same issue, on Manjaro Linux GNOME.

I have a Personal Sync and Backup license, and Insync says it expired, along with messages “You have purchased a UNKNOWN plan”.

This is happening since I updated Insync to its latest version today.

I have the same issue in GoogleDrive Account on Mac. After I logged out and tried to log in, the app just got stuck in retrieving the license.

I have the same issue with my google account on Mac and Linux. I’ve had an insync license for more than 10 years, and insync Prime since 2017.

Same here!

License : UNKNOWN: expired

Original license : Insync Plus (Google Drive) bought in 2016 that was upgraded automatically to Prime Desktop.

+1, Google Drive on Windows, Prime since 2018. Is this issue only affecting legacy licenses?

While there are many companies these days that are trying to invalidate lifetime licenses to force subscriptions, I’m inclined to believe this isn’t such a case, and I’m hopeful this can get resolved quickly.

same here with my both Google accounts, on linux app

Same here.
Google Drive, Ubuntu 25.04, v3.9.6.60027. I’ve just got a notification You have purchased a UNKNOWN plan. In the feed I actually see 2 such messages with 2 hours difference. When I open the setting it says my trial has expired, but at the right bottom corner I see a message UNKNOWN: expired.

Oh, yep, I’m seeing that message too. Got it 7 times, between 2h and 26m ago.

Same here.
In my case this problem started exactly after I restarted with a different kernel. So the workstation ID is kernel-based ?

Hey guys, now it’s working.

It’s working for me now as well. So I guess the kernel wasn’t the issue after all… What happened?

Just something server side. Now they fixed so … it’s fixed for us too.

Already fixed for me.

Same here. I didn’t have any problems on my laptop, but on my desktop I did. After I quit the client and reopened it, everything went back to normal.

The issue was fixed in my case too.
