Google Drive - Computers

Hello.

Besides the My Drive folder (that insync can manage) I also have the Computers folder. This folder is where I keep my laptop folders synced with Google Drive.

Does Insync provide a way to sync these folders?

Hi!

Computers is a separate feature that’s exclusive to the native Google sync app.

In order to sync these folders, you can do Local Selective Sync (LSS). Note that doing LSS will sync your local folders to My Drive. More info can be found in the Local Selective Sync section here:

Unfortunately, that is not an option for me.

I understand, @mgoyanes. Did you want these two subsets to be completely separate, meaning you don’t want your local files to get “mixed” to the cloud files?

Yes. That’s right. The main problem with this is getting the files mixed.
