History folder shows up in linux (addressed)

When Insync is running on linux, folders called history appear outside the synchronized folder. It’s hard to find who creates a file but it seems that closing Insync prevents these history folders from being created.

Does Insync indeed create these history folders?

I’m running InSync 3.5.4 with both Google Drive and OneDrive accounts, and I don’t have any folder named history. If you can provide InSync version, Linux distribution information, and more details if possible, more people can help.

Hi @bayindirh - thanks for stepping in :raised_hands:

@jotego If it’s a folder outside of the base folder (sync location), then there is a chance Insync is not interacting with that history folder. You can send me screenshots by emailing them to support@insynchq.com with the link to this post

That’s right after a few days with InSync turned off, I have seen the odd history folders spawn again. So it isn’t InSync’s fault. Thank you for your replies. I’ll keep looking for the application that is creating those folders.
