I’m using InSync on my Linux laptop works great except for one issue: I use Google Photos and would like to have pictures uploaded with inSync to Drive show up in Google Photos. I have set Photos to show as a folder in Drive, but uploading with InSync to a sub folder in the Google Photos folder doesn’t work. The pictures are there when I use drive, but they are not showing in Photos. Is there a way to achieve this at all?
Not currently. Insync has no support for Google Photos as of now.
I should also mention that Google Photos has pretty limited public API, and in particular does not have one that supports the “high quality” mode of upload. So it’s impossible for Insync to support the best features of Google Photos.
