How can I move my google drive to another computer?

Hi,

I am going to upgrade 8 computers with 8 insync pro accounts from ubuntu 14.04 to 16.04 and I’ll do it as a fresh install.

But I really don’t want to resync everything.

Even with the new file compare feature it takes ages. So that feature is also basically useless to me.

Is there a way I can just move the current source installs, configurations and google drive folders to new computers?

I’ve read here and there on the forum that it is possible to move some database files etc but there is no specific instruction as to what those files may be named and where they should be located.

Thanks.

I apologize for the late response. Will be tagging our engineer @lpugoy to advise you on the best way to go about your transition.

Hi,

I am currently exchanging messages with @lpugoy on my dashboard and I must admit I am having a painful time with my migration.

Doing everything I still end up with the dreaded “scanning for changes” message, which obviously should not have been the case.

Thanks for the update
