How to have the same folder structure on another device

I’ve got some local synced folders on my Linux machine (i.e. they are physically outside the Google Drive folder, which just contains links/shortcuts to the files - that’s what automatically happened when I selected local folders to sync). When I started syncing all those files on a Windows laptop, they are all placed in the Google Drive folder (or whatever the default insync folder is called). Can I replicate the same folder structure on the other machine? E.g. I’ve got a Projects folder (alonside Documents, Pictures, etc.) which I would like to exist outside the default folder, just as is the case on the Linux machine, and not all inside the same Google Drive folder.

@Pawel Yes, it is possible. when you use the Add to Insync to sync these files, the default sync location is the /root folder in your GDrive. Once sync you may now move it to your desired folder location.

Let me know if this works.

You may also send me an email to support@insynchq.com

I’ve finished syncing, all the folders are synced and in the Google Driver folder. There is no option to add them to Insync (I guess because they are alreay added). I’ve tried moving one folder to another location, but then it lost its synced status. Should I add it to Insync now? Will it actually be synced with the folder of the same name on a different computer?
