How to remove expired account on Linux app

Just spent 15 minutes trying to figure out how to remove accounts from Insync and still can’t find it. The “Remove account” button shown in another answer is missing. I got the latest app version 3.8.7.50516-jammy on Ubuntu.

What gives. It shouldn’t be this hard to remove an account. Seems like a major usability oversight.

Hi @Kiril_Okun! Let me know if the following instructions help:

Please click this button:

Then, you’ll see that the first tab shown is the Ignore Rules. Go to the last tab:

Then, click Remove account:

That worked for me. I was able to delete accounts which had expired trials, on my Windows machine.

But the UX problem is that the icons are faded, i.e. not high contrast to their background, so they look “greyed-out”/“grayed-out” which implies that they are disabled, when actually they are not. So it misled me into thinking I couldn’t click them.

You should make the icons have higher contrast.

Thank you for that UI/UX feedback, @Rob_Davis! Looking at it indeed can make one think it’s disabled/locked.

I’ll send this suggestion so we can line it up for future UI improvements!
