I need to talk to a support person privately. How do I do this?

I wish to ask a question privately regarding my payment.

I found the email address of insync support in the email warning that my trial was ending. Pretty certain that this answers my question.

I am ‘mostly’ set now. In my personal settings it lists my email incorrectly. It lists my GMAIL email - which I never use for email - rather than my REAL email.

Is it safe to change my email account in user preferences? Will this then break my Google account connection?

When you add your correct account, it will start syncing. Can you elaborate on “break my Google account connection”?

It’s all working perfectly now with my Google Account. Yet, I received this email on Google (and the only reason I checked is to see if I had any replies). This is NOT my email address.

When I installed it, I answered that my email address was my REAL (non-Google) email address. So my VISA was payment deducted but I was then unable to login to the site and nothing would sync.

Now that all is working again, I want you to use my REAL email address for communications - NOT my Google email address. If I change my email address via the admin portal - will that again break my Google Sync connection as it did initially at registration?

Or put another way: are the email address and Google Drive account linked in your system?

We usually sent our announcements to the Google account associated with Insync, but for support issues, you may send it using your real email account and we will reply from there.

To be 100% clear, when I change my email address in the admin site to a non-Google accout - will insync continue to function on my computers?

If the Google accounts is still connected in your Insync app, Insync will continue syncing. :smile:
