Johannes, think you didn’t understand what I wrote. I downloaded the Ubuntu version instead of the Buster version on that menu you mentioned, and installed it on Debian Buster, as a workaround. I am not using Ubuntu, I do not have Ubuntu on any of my machines. I’m using Debian and had to install the Ubuntu version of Insync to have it working on Buster. It’s ideal? No. I wish the Buster version worked. But this is what I have for the moment.
And, like you, I assumed that they supported the version they mention. But it seems that they want to use the same app for two different versions of Debian, but Stretch have some old libraries that are not compatible with Buster anymore.
