I get this message:
“Your account x@x.x is paused because Google Drive is running and using the same folder.”
Except, it’s not. Google Drive is running under a different user account with a different Google account, and killing that process fixes my issue. But, really, it shouldn’t get hung up like that.
Ideas? Help, please.
Just checked: restarting Google Drive app for the other user causes my oddball error to return.

Don’t know what happened, but after probably a few restarts and log-ins and -outs, the Drive app is running under the other user account and InSync seems to be fine. Go figure. Yes, I’ll email if it reoccurs.
