Initialization failed

I left Insync overnight and in the morning it had frozen. I restarted my machine and restarted Insync, and after trying to log in it said ‘Initialization failed’. I removed my account and readded it, but now it won’t sync to the same folder as before, so I’ve had to create a new folder for it to sync to. However, all the files in the original folder still need to be synced - how do I do this?

Hi @riaface I apologize for the trouble this is causing you, have you tried moving some of the files into your new folder? :smile:

Hi @jaduenas - I have, and this duplicates them within Drive itself. I guess I’ll just have to live with that and sort it out myself. It would be good if Insync could sync to a directory that already existed.

@riaface This should be possible once the file compare feature is added. I am also waiting for this, it is in my opinion a must-have.
