Insync appears broken for large file sync loads

I am trying to debug an issue with the sync of about 114GB of files this being in fact 133285 files and 12863 directories.
Here is the behaviour that I am witnessing

Initial state
the 114GB of data is sitting locally on my g:\gdrive and also on the Google host https://drive.google.com/drive/my-drive

The data is pre synchronised with Google’s client

Google’s client is stopped and now the only thing running is Insync

Insync initially decides somewhat surprising in retrospect that there are 282K items to synchronise.

Anyway over 24 hours later the number has dropped to 150K items

Now, WITHOUT ANY ACTIVITY ON THE DRIVE the number just keeps going up and up !!

From 150K it has steadily risen to 172K items

Surely this is a bug right?

This is the folder that is being sync’d

Here is the picture right now:

This is what it thinks I have added

Notice the number just went up again. The filename is pretty specific. So lets look shall we

So it is on the host here only once

Oh and on the local side only once also

Oh and I just checked the local filesystem again. Hmmm. Yep it did not change. Still the same number of local files exactly

Finally, lets look at the dates on the local filesystem

Yes, so nothing has been modified for over 24 hours now

SOME HOURS LATER

Can’t process Images - Internal Error

@Marcus_Bennett Sorry to hear about this issue. Please send us your logs.db and out.txt file. Also, please include the link of this post so we can investigate and provide you solutions.

Thank you.

UPDATE

After a 5 month plus absence, because behind the scenes I did not get any resolution to my difficulties I am back trying Insync to sync my large file collection to a Google Drive Host.

SUMMARY
It is still not working

DETAILS
I installed inync, fresh download from the website. Version is 1.3.6.36076

Installation is on a fully patched Windows 2012 R2 Server

I have over 1.6M files to sync

This master workstation / server is not running 24x7

Initially Insync was auto started, so that on boot it is always running

VERY VERY slowly the sync count is decreasing

The workstation is normally on for about 15 hours+ per day

At the time of writing 1372059 items are queued

This has taken over 2 weeks to get here, and in the process the daily update of about 15K files locally is temporarily disabled. Without that I suspect the queued number would not have decreased at all

The count seems to be decreasing and <1 item per second.

On the positive side, I don’t now yet get the Internal Error message shown above

HOWEVER THIS IS faint praise since we are not in sync, and not nearly in sync yet.

On advice from support I usually start Insync Manually (not autostarted) from an Admin command prompt thus

cd C:\Users\mbennett\AppData\Roaming\Insync\App
.\insync --max-conns 10 --skip-local-scan

Thanks for the update about your issue, will be tagging our engineer @dipesh and he will get back to you.
