Insync consumes > 90% CPU on startup

Windows 8.1 Insync V3.8.3.50473

When I start up Windows my CPU goes to > 90% due to Insync according to Task Manager. It usually comes right down (0%) after 20 minutes. Sometimes within 5 minutes. This makes this PC difficult to use.

I’ve checked for disk activity and network activity but neither of these are being run by insync.

Please advise what I should do.

Thanks
Brendon

Hi @impracticaldogg! Could you please try our latest version and let me know if the same issue occurs?

If it does, could you confirm if you notice the CPU spike happening while Insync is in a scanning state?

Hi there. The problem seems to have been resolved
