Same problem with Ubuntu 20.04

Hello! For those experiencing issues on 3.9.1.60010, please downgrade to any of these builds:

Our engineers have been alerted of this urgent issue and are in the process of investigation to be able to release a fix as soon as possible.

Thank you!

I upgraded to 3.9.2.60014 a couple minutes ago and it is working good.

Thanks for the good work.

Hi @Marcin_Bojko,

Could you please let me know what issues you’re facing after updating to 3.9.2.60014 on your Mint 21.3 machine?

Hi @mia, same here for my Debian Bullseye Installation. Updating to 3.92.60014 did not resolve the issue. After starting insync in a terminal via insync start --no-daemon i get the following error messages:

qt.qpa.plugin: Could not load the Qt platform plugin "xcb" in "" even though it was found.
This application failed to start because no Qt platform plugin could be initialized. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

Available platform plugins are: eglfs, linuxfb, minimal, minimalegl, offscreen, vnc, wayland-egl, wayland, wayland-xcomposite-egl, wayland-xcomposite-glx, webgl, xcb.

The updated version, 3.9.2.60014 is working well on Pop OS 22.04 (an Ubuntu derivative). Thank you!

On Opensuse Tumbleweed there are unfulfilled dependencies in 3.9.2.60014 using fedora 39 version.

Fedora 39 was installed by the yum installer for OpenSuse Tumbleweed and it does not work as shown above. I tried Fedora 38 and it seems to work, it does not complain about the libnss dependency.

Perhaps you need to update your mapping OpenSuse - Fedora?

Why don’t you provide an AppImage and that solves the dependency problems and you don’t have to maintain so many versions?

3.9.2 works well on Ubuntu 20.04.

Well, unfortunately here, with Debian/12.6/bookworm/stable, 3.9.2.60014 does not seem to work. Here is the requested output:

On the latest OpenSuSE Tumbleweed I also get the error still on version 3.9.2.60014.

How can I fix this issue?

Yes, you can, install the version for Fedora 38. I already posted the same output as yours 2 days ago and I offered the solution immediately after. If you took the time to read …

Thanks, after I downloaded that particular version, it’s working again.

Hi @Bogdan_Hlevca,

I have forwarded your feedback to our engineers for further investigation. Thank you for the details you provided!

@Marcin_Bojko Hello, could you please send me the output of
lsb_release -a
apt-cache policy insync

Thank you!

@freelsjd I have followed this up with our engineers. Thank you for your patience!

Hi @mia , I have the same issue on Ubuntu 23.10.

Same here. I’m on tumbleweed 20240704 and I have the same error.
The strange thing is that libnss3.so is available both under /usr/lib and under /usr/lib64.

To those who can do it: please change the subject to reflect the fact that the problem is NOT solved.
