Insync doesn't sync file from google drive to local machine

Hello,

I’m running insync 1.3.3.36056 on Ubuntu 15.10 and I just started noticing that some files are not syncing from a shared google drive directory. when I click on the insync system tray icon I see that the file was updated by a team member but the file doesn’t exist on my local disk. I’ve tried stopping and restarting insync but see no difference. It’s been at least 30 min and I see no activity with insync. I’ve tried pausing and restarting sync within the insync client without success as well. Also no errors, actions-required or incoming shares.

What else can I check or try?

I just downloaded the file via the web interface for google drive and placed it in the correct folder. When I look now in the web interface I see a second file with the exact same file name as the file not being downloaded showing created by me.

Possibly the problem is that the file was named filename(2).txt on my local system but no file with that name existed in google drive. I’ve renamed this file locally and I don’t see any activity in my feed related to it.

Hi @Edward_Clay thank you for the updates, I will tag our engineer @lpugoy in this and he will get back to you

@Edward_Clay: Do you have the “Sync new children of partial folders” option checked? You can see it by going to the selective sync interface of your account.
