Today Insync was updated to the latest version (1.3.17) by the package manager.
After that it refuses to start.
issuing the “insync start” command on the commandline gives no respons.
issuing one of the insync commands, for instance “insync get_status” gives:
“Insync doesn’t seem to be running. Start it first.”
Downgrading to 1.3.16 solves the problem.
(my sources.list file is set correctly (deb http://apt.insynchq.com/ubuntu zesty non-free contrib)
I’m on Ubuntu-gnome 17.04 (64bit)
Could you check out what the problem is?
cheers,
Ate

I am seeing the exact same issue here on Kubuntu 17.04. Please see footnote [L] in Kubuntu 17.04 Preferred Apps for resolution. This spreadsheet also shows my OS configuration which includes Kubuntu backports.
I’m also having the same problem with Ubuntu Gnome 17.04.
