Hi everyone,
Since upgrading to Ubuntu 18.04, I have encountered several issues with Insync. First, the system tray icon did not appear, which I found was due to Gnome’s lack of support for tray icons. After installing Top Icons, the icon showed up in the top corner, but it remains unresponsive. Meanwhile, other tray icons, like Chrome’s, are working fine.
The main problem is that Insync is no longer syncing my files. My Google Drive folder and all its files are still accessible, but syncing has stopped completely. On boot, I get an error saying Insync had to close, and any attempt to reopen it leads to a blank white screen with no response. Even when I try launching it from the Applications menu, I just encounter the same white screen issue.
If anyone has facing errors like this or any suggestions?
