I’ve been using Insync for years on Linux Mint. Throughout that time, Inync has been randomly crashing, causing me to manually restart it. I couldn’t find an explanation/solution in the forums. I’m currently running Linux Mint 21.3.
Any suggestions?

Hi @bozackt, thank you!
Try to reinstall Insync by following the steps here: Linux - Download Insync
Let me know how it goes ![]()
Just to get this possibility off the table I am not having that issue on Kubuntu 24.04 or any LTS version before that so it is not a universal problem.
Hi @jamdo63 , could you run insync start --no-daemon the next time Insync crashes on your machine?
MIa I wrote no crashes on Kubuntu for me. Just clarifying that it was not affecting all users. best
Apologies for misunderstanding and thank you for the clarification, @jamdo63!
