inSync support for dual booting laptops

I know inSync has promised this in the past, and many people have asked for it. But all of the responses I see here from the company are “not supported yet” or “not high priority”. How do we get this bumped up on the queue?

Laptops by necessity have limited storage compared to a desktop, but even on a desktop computer it makes no sense to maintain two directory trees that are identical apart from the OS used to access them.

Please: consider working on supporting inSync running on two OS’s and sharing one drive.

Thanks for bringing this up, we’re currently prioritizing stabilizing current builds so we cannot give an ETA yet for this feature.

I know… For two years it’s been low on the priority list, and nobody can give an ETA. Given how useful the feature would be to anyone who dual boots a laptop, I can’t understand how it hasn’t made it higher on the list, or why nobody can even guess when it might appear on the timeline.

It’s the sole reason I bought InSync when I did. It was supposed to come soon after I bought it, with version 1.3 I think it was.
