Insync wants to begin again on top of my old account

I decided to add two-factor authentication to the Google account that is set up with Insync. Everything was fine until I rebooted. At that point Insync required that that I log in to my Google account with my new credentials. After that Insync didn’t recognize my account and wanted to create a new account. This would have started again from nothing. Is there a way to change my Google authentication without having Insync want to overwrite everything that I already have in place?

Ubuntu 14.04
Insync 1.2.18.35198

Hi @Bob_Cannon,

This should not be the case. I need to have our engineers look at this. Please send us your logs.db and out.txt file to support@insynchq.com.

Thank you for responding. After the incident I described I stopped two-step verification and restored the .config directory from a backup, so I was back to a good state. After learning that this event shouldn’t have happened I set up two-step verification with Google again, and Insync worked fine. I don’t have a log from the event. In any event all is well.

@Bob_Cannon Great to hear that everything is working well.

Have a wonderful day!
