Linux mint identify as ubuntu

my linux was showing a error earlier regarding linux mint 22.1 xia 404 error so asked chatGPT and it said me to change to mirror link but the issue didn’t got solved so it suggested me to do changes in sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list and asked me to change all xia name with noble but after that i didn’t noticed quickly but my OS started to identify itself as ubuntu instead of linux mint :slight_smile:

lsb_release -c
apt-cache policy insync

What does this have to do with insync?

You should never, ever take technical advice from chatgpt

thanks for advice and sorry about the question i was scared about it so i posted it on every linux forums i had

thanks but i timeshift my linux mint atlast , but earlier when i used neofetch it showed me ubuntu bcz i messed with some of internal apt files and changed xia name to noble
