Linux Symlink support from within the share folder (nothing external to it)

Hello friends:

Under Linux using the latest version of inSync, does this type of Symlinking work (as shown by example) …

$ cd ${My_GoogleDrive_inSync_Folder}
$ ln -s ./source ./destination    # Completely in the share folder.

I don’t think is does, because on another laptop that I have similarly synchronized with inSync, “./destination” does not appear. (Bummer! LOL)

It has been a capability I’ve wanted for years. Remember, I’m talking from completely within the share folder (nothing external to it is involved).

Is this possible? If so, am I missing something?

Thank you in advance! =:)

This is really a bummer :frowning: Please send us your logs.db and out.txt file to support@insynchq.com and the link of this post. I will forward it to @lpugoy for investigation.

Thank you for your patience.

I emailed a reply referring to this ticket URL, and attached the requested assets/files. I sent it to the email address you referenced above.

Thank you. =:)

Thank you. I have forwarded your email to our Linux engineer. :smile:
