I’m working on Linux Ubuntu 24.04. My Insync is set so that local version of doc and sheet file are not converted to .docx or .xlsx
I’d expected that these .gdoc and .sheet files where associated to a specific icon., but this is what I get in nautilus
while in the app I get this
Is that possible to have these extension associated to the same icons?

Hi @PiCo77 ,
That is interesting, as I have this on my end (I’m on Windows 11 though):
I’m assuming this is what you prefer, correct? Let me ask our Linux Team regarding this. What’s your file manager (Nautilus, Caja, Dolphin, etc)?

I’ll have our engineers test this to confirm the expected behavior. Could you confirm if you’ve installed the file manager integration package? For example: Linux - Download Insync
I can confirm the same. No isons for links. I am using Ubuntu 24.04 LTS and have installed insync-emblem-icons and insync-nautilus packages.

Hi @Jan_Gajewski , could you send a screenshot of the entire file manager window? You may redact filenames as needed. Thank you!
Here is the screenshot of the file manager GNOME nautilus 46.4.

@Jan_Gajewski Hello! Please run this command:
rm -r ~/.cache/thumbnails
killall nautilus
Let me know how it goes.
No change. Still no icons.

Hi @Jan_Gajewski , could you run ls /usr/share/themes/ and send us the output? Let us know as well if you’re using a specific theme.
Thank you!
I am using default Ubuntu ‘Yaru’ theme.
