Local Selective Sync Ubuntu 20.04

I’ve been able to use “Cloud Selective Sync” however when I attempt to use “Local Selective Sync” it opens my files but everything is blocked not allowing me to select any folders to sync.

Any idea if there’s something blocking access? Id also like to add, I’m new to Ubuntu and I’m unsure if there are commands I need to enter through the terminal to get me the answers I need.

@Lenny_G to confirm per your first post, are you unable to select FOLDERS, not the individual files? Just checking because Local Selective Sync is only for folders.
