Minor bug in 1.4.1 in Ubuntu 17.10

1.4 beta version number: 1.4.1
Operating system: Ubuntu 17.10

Issue: When selecting “open app window” from the menu icon, I get a notification from Insync.py that “-” is ready. This occurs even when I go to Insync preferences and turn off “show popup notifications”. Not a big deal, but annoying. Note that I am running Ubuntu 17.10 in the default gnome mode with icons at the top.

@fox Have you run Insync 1.3 on Ubuntu 17.10, and if so, did you get the same notification?

What GNOME extension are you currently using to display tray icons? Thanks!

Am experiencing exactly the same issue with version 1.4.5 on Ubuntu 17.10

It seems to happen after I changed the scaling, due to the app menu script being tiny on a HiDPI display (Dell XPS 13 - 9343)

I changed the scaling using the following command gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface scaling-factor 2

Seems to disappear if I revert back to a scaling of 1

Same Issue here. Getting ‘Insync.pi - “” is ready’ every time I “open the app window”. Ubuntu 17.10, insync 1.4.7.

Similar problem in a fresh install of Ubuntu 18.;04.
Not every time but majority of times I open the app window get a message ‘Insync.py “” is ready’. Using version 1.4.9
