Missing comments after uploading

When I sync Google Drive, all my files are downloaded and converted to local files without problems. I use comments a lot and they are included in docx/odt files - when I add content and comments via Google Docs web interface, they appear on my local copies.

But if I edit a local file and then save, it gets sync and ALL comments in that file are deleted in the Google Web version!
This happens every time and works both with docx and odt files, both in Libre Office 4.3 and 5.1.

@mDfRg: Apologies for the trouble. That is a limitation with Google Drive’s API for converting Office documents to Google Docs format. You could try exporting them as links instead.

Oddly enough, importing comments from word documents by simple drag&drop via web browser imports all comments without troubles, Problem start when I mix comments - by sometimes commenting via google web interface and then trying to respond by editing in Libre Office. Then they all messed up: some of them are missing, some of them are displaced randomly.

Can anything be done with this or is it a Google’s ‘fault’? Is it possible for you to patch this bug in API?

@mDfRg: I see. We just use Google Drive’s API for the conversion, so we really have no control over its behavior. Patching this is not practical in our case, I think it would be best to raise this with Google instead.
