Mounting a shared Google Drive folder on Linux

I’m using Insync 3.9.7.60031 on Linux. A contractor shared a Google Drive folder with me. I want to mount the folder in My Drive so it syncs with my filesystem.

I created a shortcut of the folder in Google Drive, but the related .gdlink file is synced instead of the expected folder. Ideally, I want to selectively sync specific shared files/folders, but a global Shared with Me folder would also be acceptable.

What options do I have?

Hello! Apologies, Insync does not support symlinks or shortcuts. Please sync the shared folder from its original location (i.e., Shared with Me).
