Moving folder in Kubuntu

I have looked at the other articles on here and i am have an issue also.

I have my Insync folder located in my user folder on Kubuntu

/home/USER/GoogleDrive

in the app i have changed it to another internal SSD

/media/USER/storage/GoogleDrive

it accepts the change and then just ignores it and either change back to the old folder or makes its own one…

/home/USER/Insync/email@address[.]com/GoogleDrive

and then downloads everything again…

How do i stop this happening and get it to accept then location and folder i want to use?

So sorry for not responding to you sooner. Could you let me know if you were changing it via My Drive on your app, or are you doing this upon setting up the account?

If it’s the first one, could you try to remove your account and add it again, but this time pick the location you prefer? :slight_smile:
