My Google Drive is to heavy

Hi Guys.

I have some weird problem. All of my files stored on Google Drive are about 76 GB, but on my Mac’s SSD they seem to be much heavier (over 105 GB). Please, help, I’m running out of space.

HINT: Unsyncing the most heavy folders didn’t resolve the problem. My Google Drive folder’s weight is still over 105 GB. :frowning:

@Bartek_Papiez The additional space is probably being taken up by the Insync trash, which stores deleted files for up to 30 days before deleting them.

To check this, please enable the display of hidden files on Finder (http://ianlunn.co.uk/articles/quickly-showhide-hidden-files-mac-os-x-mavericks/), then check under your Insync folder for a folder named .insync-trash. If you don’t need any of the files inside the .insync-trash folder, then you can safely delete them to free up disk space.

I’m running Ubuntu 14.04.

Where can I find the .insync-trash folder?

I’ve had a look for hidden files in /usr/lib/insync but can’t find.

Nevermind - found it.
