Is it possible to set a rate limit for uploading and downloading files via the Insync app?
I have a few large files (for my connection) that i’d like to trickle upload.
+1 – Would like to see this also. So when it’s doing a large sync in the background, and you’re actively using the PC, you don’t have to totally pause the sync.
+1, This seems like a very basic feature, I’m surprised it’s not in there already. I was about to purchase but I think I’ll see if rclone can do rate limiting first. Insync is uploading 3500 files (14GB) from my computer to Google Drive right now, and I really don’t want it bogging down my entire Internet connection for 48 hours while it saturates my upload bandwidth. If I could limit it to say 100 KB/s it would be just fine to let it run forever.
Thanks for the input. We are planning a feature that will allow you to increase or decrease the number of files. We’re planning to have an advanced configuration option where you can set the maximum number of simultaneous connections.
