Good Evening

For Ubuntu after this new update when I click on 2-way sync or 1-way sync it’s crashing

How did it break? Was it an Apple change or an Insync bug? Can I expect to have to do manual updates like this often going forward? New user.

It was an insync bug and no, updates should be automatic moving forward

@Yuri_Serrano Could you let me know what your Ubuntu version is?

I’m on Ubuntu 20.04. Both 3.7.5.50336 and 3.7.5.50350 did not sync new files I added. The icon for the folder on the interface is always syncing but without actual actions. I tried to reinstall, delete-my-account and add it back, nothing helps. Is there a more stable version that I should use?

Hey @astroboylrx – do you mind sending your logs.db and out.txt files to support@insynchq.com with the link to this post?

Those 2 files are in ~/.config/Insync (capital “I”).

done! Thank you very much

Same problem for me. Running 3.7.5.0350 for the first time. Did some syncing in both directions, but then stopped for some reason. Same icons and behavior as astroboylrx.

Running Ubuntu 21.10.

Ubuntu 21.10, Got the new 3.7.5 update in my software-updates. Installed. Now crashes on any attempt to start. Extremely disappointing. Will be sending in my logs.

I’ll alert our Linux team about this - initially we thought it had to do with Ubuntu 22 but since you are not on that newest build, then this is definitely something we need to address asap.

When you do email your logs to support@insynchq.com, could you also please include the output of insync start --no-daemon? @ekalfwonS @kzollman

For those on Linux experiencing the crashing issue, could you please update your packages by running udo apt update && sudo apt upgrade, then restart Insync and see if the crashing persists?

Good Morning @mia

I’ve sent you an e-mail with all the info you’ve requested.

If you need anything else just let me know.

Have a nice day.
