Display Bug Introduced in 3.9.5 Still Present in 3.9.11

I see that the 3.9.11 release notes only mention a fix for SSL certificate errors on older Fedora versions.
The display bug I previously reported, which first appeared in version 3.9.5 and remained present through 3.9.10, is not addressed in this release.
Since the issue was introduced specifically between versions 3.9.4 and 3.9.5, a focused comparison of the source changes between those two versions might provide an efficient way to identify the regression. I suspect that the required fix may be relatively small.
Could the engineering team please compare the changes introduced between versions 3.9.4 and 3.9.5, identify the cause of the regression, and fix this bug in the upcoming release?
