New location for Drive folder, name differs only in case, refused

Any way to get around this? I must change ~/GdriveInsync to (different empty) folder ~/GDriveInsync in ubuntu 18.04.

Using the Insync management console, I wasn’t able to “rename” it, filename simply reverted to the lower case “Gd…”
