No syncing activities

Just upgraded to version 1.2.3, running it on debian jessie.

I appear to have SYNCING status, but actually no syncing activities:

kvegh@prefect:~$ insync get_status
SYNCING
kvegh@prefect:~$ insync get_sync_progress
No syncing activities
kvegh@prefect:~$

What now?

Do I send someone the out.txt and the (200MB!) logs.db ?

Hm, it seems “insync force_sync” triggered the right action, now there is syncing.

…and again nothing.

There are large folders on the local disk, those are empty on GDrive. Any ideas, anyone?

The whole directory /home/kvegh/gdrive/backup/zem/katharina_zem is empty on drive:

kvegh@prefect:~$ insync get_file_status /home/kvegh/gdrive/backup/zem/katharina_zem/Desktop/IMAG3177.jpg
SYNCING
kvegh@prefect:~$ insync get_sync_progress
No syncing activities
kvegh@prefect:~$

Hi,

Please send your logs to support@insynchq.com. You can compress them before sending to save space.

ok, done.

I put there the logs.db and the out.txt. Need anything else?

+1 for this issue. For a spell I had a never changing 136 items waiting for sync (as reported in the UI), but that’s gone although get_sync_progress still reports 136 queued. I’ve tried force_sync but that doesn’t seem to have any effect.

Chris…

Is there anything to update on this? This is a very serious bug for us now.

Hi Chris,

Please send your logs as well. Thanks.

I’ve sent the logs through now.

Hello,
I would also sign for this issue. Using Kubuntu 14.10.

On top of mentioned above, I have several error messages saying “Can’t process XXX - parent folder YYY is not being added.”. There is a button “Retry”, which does nothing (or it maybe retried and fired this error again). I have checked all XXXs and YYYs and it seems there is no reason for these not to be uploaded. Also, these files/folders are not present on GDrive

Thanks for any help

@Kamil_Foltin Please send your logs too.

No answer? many of us are facing the same issue

@Angel_Catanzariti This is a general issue in the sense that it can be caused by different factors. Please send your logs to support@insynchq.com so we can investigate your case.
