I would like to turn off the sound as well. I use Mac, Linux, Windows. Want to turn it off for Windows mainly. That machine is rarely muted.

I use Linux (Mint 19 based on Ubuntu 18.04) and wonder if it’s possible to mute Insync only, and not the popup notification in general, as it is only Insync that sometimes has too many notifications (e.g. when somebody is working on a shared google document)
