It would be great if insync could map google accounts (google directory) to windows accounts (active directory) and have insync maintain file ownership and permissions.
Use case:
We have a shared folder in our google drive (google apps for work), and a shared folder on a network drive (windows share).
We would like to have exact copies of our files in both places, and maintain ownership and permissions.
Example:
If user A uploads a file in the shared google drive folder and shares it with everyone in the domain, we would like that file to be synced to the network drive and that file to be owned by A, and shared to everyone.
Similarly, if user B creates a file in the network share, it should be synced to google drive and user B should be the owner in both places.
