Possibility to run Insync as a service

Operating system:Windows server 2012

Hi I’m using the program in a windows server 2012. Normally I restart this server every night and until I login in it again Insync is not working . Is there any possibility to run it as a Service?.

You may try the workaround to run an executable as a service as described in the following post:

You can run Insync as service on Windows Server 2008 R2 by following the instructions below. Note* Insync tray icons, context menu and badges will not appear while running as a service. Go to Insync Preferences, Uncheck Start Insync when computer starts and Show pop-up notifications. Click Ok. Download srvany.zip and extract srvany.exe to a permanent location such as Program files or %appdata%\Insync folder; don’t put it in the Insync\App folder as it would be wiped out while updating or re-i…

To change sync settings, you would have to quit the service and start Insync as a regular program and access the UI.

Hi I’ve been checking it but I prefer to have the Icon and the possibility to see what is happening. A good option is to perform an autologin in the server after restart it. For those interested they can check this
