3.9.4.60020

Im trying to “one way sync” some of my folders for over a week and every day I start insync it just gets stuck after syncing about 10 files.

2024-08-15 07:47:36,147 [cloudclient:_request:208] Retrying request due to rate limit error. https://www.googleapis.com/upload/drive/v3/files?uploadType=resumable&supportsAllDrives=true&prettyPrint=false&fields=*&upload_id=XXXXXX

it just keeps printing this message over and over.

I thought I would wait for the next update maybe it will fix it but after updating yesterday to 3.9.4.60020 still no fix

Would using a proxy solve this? or is it just a problem with your google API?

EDIT:
it seems like this issue has been going on for over 3 years with posts going back to 2021 and before with the same exact issue, reading those it seems like these people have just given up and the problem was never solved which is disappointing having paid for a lifetime license for this. I will just go back to my rclone method which is working with no issues.

My apologies for the trouble, @Haitham_ghaida! Rate limit errors are often caused by a large data transfer (in this case, to the cloud). We shared a workaround on this article (under “Stuck Sync Issues”): https://help.insynchq.com/en/articles/6521198-playbook-error-messages

Please let me know if you’d like us to investigate the issue in depth. If so, kindly send your logs.db and out.txt files (found in ~/.config/Insync) to support@insynchq.com with the link to this post.

Thank you!
