"Scanning for Changes..." taking too much resources

Hello,

I have recently download InSync and synced around 60GB recently to my local desktop. A problem that I’m running into right now is that the the “Scanning for Changes…” is taking up around 30% of my CPU and it doesn’t seem like it’s ever going to end. It has been around 20 minutes already since I started my computer.

This isn’t acceptable for what I’ll be doing with my computer later in the day. I’m going to have to pause the Sync for now and deal with this later, but is there some permanent resolve with this issue that I should know about? I liked InSync until this problem happened.

Is this just a nature of having 60GB in local folder, or is there something that’s the problem with the software? Please let me know. Thank you.

P.S. I have read elsewhere on the forums that you wanted the ‘dbs’ folder and logs.db is that correct? Where do I send that off to?

Hi there, thanks for your report, just send it to support@insynchq.com along with the link to this post so we can investigate. Thank you
