Share a file/folder shortcut/link to colleagues to open in explorer not web/cloud

I often send emails to colleagues in my company asking them to look at a one or more networked files. I right click and drag the files into my outlook (new email) window and select paste shortcut from the pop-up context menu. This is fine when working with local networked file servers. In the case of Synced cloud files it pastes the full UNC of my local drive (c:\users\myusername\insync account\xxx\yyy\zzz into the email.

When my colleagues receive this link it won’t work, because it references my local machine.

Is it possible for Insync to some how detect that the link I want to paste is only an offline copy of a cloud based file and paste the full URL for it AND is it possible for the recipient (with Insync) to open the link I sent to have it open within Explorer (in whichever folder they have setup for the same synced file location on their machine).

Thanks,
R
