Shared drives problems [RESOLVED]

I am using Insync 3.9.4 on Linux Mint 22 and it works great.
However, when trying to sync shared drives, I ended up in a strange situation: for one of the shared folder I both cannot sync and unsync it; see actions available in the first folder

while others (see the last folder) are working ok (here I can unsync and re-sync)

How can I reset the first folder, so I can then sync it properly?
Thank you

Hi @vincenzo-rcp! Does this issue persist when you restart Insync?

Yes, even if I restart the pc

Could you check if you have any error messages on your Errors tab? Here’s an example:

Could you also send your logs.db and out.txt files to support@insynchq.com with the link to this post? Logs can be found here: ~/.config/Insync

Thank you!

Hi @mia
indeed there was an error indicating the missing folder for that share.
So I manually created the folders as expected by Insync and then the error disappeared.
Then I was able to Unsync it and re-Sync with the correct folder.
So problem solved now.
Maybe in these case you could add another button, in the row, suggesting solutions to solve the stalemate (consider that one cannot Unsync or Sync)
Thank you

Thank you for confirming, @vincenzo-rcp! We usually do have a drop-down menu with a few options on how to resolve the error message as shown here. Nonetheless, we’ll look into that and see how else we can improve to avoid any further trouble on the user’s end.
