I believe this question was asked multiple times before but what is the current status with using a single Insync folder for Insync instances installed under multiple operating systems? E.g. can an Insync installed under Linux and another Insync installed under Windows synchronize to the same folder (two instances are run consecutively, not concurrently)? This is a usual dual-boot scenario.
Hi @cioma,
Dual-boot setups are not yet supported in Insync 3. Our team is currently focused in deploying fixes for core sync issues so that we’ll be able to allocate our resources efficiently when releasing new features.
I’m using the same Insync folder in a NTFS shared partition in my dual-boot system (KDE Neon + Windows 10) and it is working fine as far as I can tell.
