Store the insync db on an external hard drive

Hi,
I have the following problem: I want to use Insync to sync a folder on an external hard drive which I use on multiple machines running different OSes. Every time I plug it for the first time on a new machine, it starts reading the whole folder (I guess to make a new database of the file which it will sync), even though the folder is already in perfect sync.
Even though no files are actually downloaded/uploaded, this still takes quite some time/resources.

Is there a way to put the Insync db on the external hard drive, so that it can be shared accross different machines/instances of the app, and when I plug the drive into a new computer and start the sync it does not have to build a new copy of the db over again?

Thanks!

@antosecret Right now there’s no easy way to share the Insync DB (and we don’t recommend it as it can be more prone to corruption). We’re planning to improve our file matching algorithm to make it more efficient in cases like this. Thanks for your feedback.
