Switching from pc to mac

Hi there, I have a pc windows 7 running insync’s folder on an external hard drive (airport time capsule). Switching to mac, installing insync and selecting the target folder on the airport time capsule, will it match the files or re-download them all again?

Insync will attempt to match the files but you must not use the same folder with Insync on Windows 7 anymore. It will cause conflicts. Each Insync instance must have its separate Insync folder (not shared with any other Insync instance or Google Drive syncing client). So, if you want to continue using Insync on Windows 7, then you need to create a copy of the Insync folder and then set up the new Insync instance (on Mac) on that copy of the Insync folder.
