Waste of Bandwidth

I was irritated to find that when I moved a subfolder containing literally gigabytes of files to another subfolder, Insync no longer seems to just move it. It now appears to delete all those folders (and contents) on the Google Drive, and re-upload all those files.

An action that used to take a minute or two now takes hours, and consumes a lot of unnecessary bandwidth.

Insync 3.2.6.40863 on Ubuntu Mate 18.04

Hi @Matt_Hobbie,

So sorry for the trouble! The expected behavior should be that this synced folder should show that it was moved to its new location, and not deleted + reuploaded. Could you recall if this folder had a yellow check on it prior to moving it to the other subfolder?

In any case, please send your logs.db and out.txt files to support@insynchq.com with the link to this post so we can investigate further.

Thank you!
