Hi all!
I am trying to download the new v1.2.x release of Insync for my favorite linux distro: PCLinuxOS.
I remember that PCLinuxOS was explicitly taken into account in the old download page, but now I find no mention of it.
Previously, there was a generic RPM package available to download, but now I only find rpm packages for Fedora. What should I download? 17 or 20? Or maybe the portable package?
Please help…
@beatobongco , I see you edited my message, but without changing anything really.
I see you’re from Insync, if you know something about the topic it would be good to know.
Sorry about that, was making changes to this support forum and recategorized your query.
I spoke with one of our Linux engineers, please go to our downloads page and try the 32/64-bit headless rpm under Fedora OR the 32/64-bit installers under Portable.
Please let me know if you have trouble getting these to work!
Thank you @beatobongco.
I tried with the 64-bit portable package, since I didn’t want a headless setup.
Unfortunately, I discovered that the portable package installs a headless configuration too!
So I decided to try with the normal (not headless) Fedora 17 package, and it is working flawlessly!!
I hope this can help others having my same problem.
