Write only support for OSX sparsebundles

I’ve been using Insync to sync a total of about 6TB to Google Drive, from a home office, OS X. Insync rocks, it is super stable, even over 1-month sync times.

However, I’m worried about syncing sparsebundles. It means I create a filesystem within my Insync folder, composed of many 8MB files. If any of these files are corrupted, I’ll lose data.

However, native sparsebundle files are robust. It is how OS X Time Machine creates incremental backups. I just want to ensure I don’t get remote changes that sync back to corrupt my filesystem. I’d love to make my data write-only and reject remote updates.

I realize it is in the works, I’m just voting for it! Thanks, Insync.

Thanks!
Jason

@Jason_Hickey Thank you for the great feedback. We’ll count your vote for the one-way sync feature
