After upgrading to 3.9.3 the UI is unresponsive (with reply from Insync Support)

After upgrading to 3.9.3, much of the Insync UI appears to be unresponsive. Only the two dropdown menus do anything when I click them.

I’m on Ubuntu 24.04, running with X11.

Yup, same here on Fedora 40 with KDE Plasma. Insync version 3.9.3.60018

Same problem here.

Operational System: Ubuntu 22.04.4 on Xorg.
Package: Insync amd64 3.9.3.60018-jammy

Hello People

Same here,

Ubuntu 24.04 LTS
Xfce4.8 on X11
Worked fine until version 3.9.3.60018

Same here. Mint Linux 21.3 64 bit Cinnamon

Exactly the same for me! Both in Tuxedo OS (ubuntu jammy version) and Mint 22 (ubuntu noble version). Not buttons work except the top menu.

Same here with Linux Mint 21.3 with XFCE in three different computers.

I’m having the same trouble with Ubuntu 24.04 LTS on Wayland.

Hello,
same here with Debian Linux 12.6 on KDE (X11)

Same issue here with Linux Mint 22.

The app appears to be functioning but the GUI is unresponsive.

Same here with Ubuntu 22.04.
Went back to insync_3.9.2.60015-jammy_amd64.deb.

Same issue here in ubuntu24… I should add that it seems like it’s not only the UI, the files aren’t syncing. Maybe it’s just me?

Same issue in ubuntu 24.04 with insync 3.9.3.60018-noble_amd64.
Yhe Insync UI appears to be unresponsive. Only the two dropdown menus do anything when I click them.

Ditto. Will only show Support Center page but nothing works. Has anyone attempted to contact support?

insync version:
3.9.2.60014-jammy was working fine.
3.9.2.60018-jammy broke insync

I did, yesterday, by email.

Same for me on fedora 40 - Insync version 3.9.3.60018 is stuck in the “Support Center” screen. Hovering the mouse over the buttons will display their text, but clicking has no effect.

My previous version was 3.9.2.60014 which was working fine. Does anyone know where I can find this previous version so I can downgrade back to this working version?

insync version
3.9.3.60018
Fedora release 40 (Forty)

Same problem.

Another update that has rendered Insync unusable on my system. This is the second time in as many months.

On Fedora you can do the following:

sudo dnf remove insync
sudo dnf install insync-3.9.2.60014-fc40.x86_64
sudo dnf config-manager --set-disable insync

The last line disables the insync repo so you don’t get any updates from it while we wait for a fix. Once a fix is released, you can re-enable the repo with this then do an update.

sudo dnf config-manager --set-enable insync
