Insync 3.9x vs previous version

Apologies for not being clear in my previous post! I am confirming their Insync version because we shared a test version for some users to try. An example would be this one: Insync for Ubuntu 24.04

Make sure to uninstall the existing version you have before installing the one above Let me know how it goes!

@michal.kvasnicka Hi! I’m not quite sure what issue you’re currently facing. Could you expound and provide further details, so I can assist you further? Please also specify your OS distro and Insync version.

As for the PPAs - I have responded here: New Insync Version: 3.9.0

Same behavior. “Illegal instruction” and does not start. Reinstalled old version, all is well.

I noticed this message during uninstalling the old version: while removing insync, directory ‘/usr/lib/insync’ not empty so not removed

Also found this in my logs

On my side, Insync doesn’t start anymore on Ubuntu 24.04 after installing version 3.9.1.60010-noble_amd64. I tried to start it from terminal, hoping for some errors being displayed, but nothing.

Hello! For Ubuntu, Pop!OS, and Mint users whose versions are based on Jammy and Noble, please try the following test builds:

This is meant to address the no attribute lower issues that you have been experiencing.

I installed 3.9.2.60015-noble_amd64.deb and works fine so far.
I have 2 pc with Linux Mint:
Kernel: 6.5.0-41-generic x86_64 bits: 64 compiler: N/A Desktop: Cinnamon 5.6.8 tk: GTK 3.24.33 wm: muffin vt: 7 dm: LightDM 1.30.0 Distro: Linux Mint 21.1 Vera base: Ubuntu 22.04 jammy
