Insync still won't start. Failed to create OpenGL

Still having the “Failed to create OpenGL context for format QSurfaceFormat…” error that other people have been having; latest version or workarounds do not work. Currently on Debian 12 and Insync version 3.9.2.60014.
Running insync start --no-daemon yields:

Hi @Shane,

We are working on Debian-related issues as well. My apologies for the trouble!!

Please downgrade in the meantime while we address these bugs: New Insync version: 3.8.7

Having installed 3.8.7, I get the exact same error. This is quite problematic having paid for this program, and I need it for work.

In my case downgrading worked fine

@Shane Could you please let me know if this build works? https://cdn.insynchq.com/builds/linux/3.9.2.60030/insync_3.9.2.60030-bookworm_amd64.deb

Unfortunately seems like I’m getting the same error

Think I found the issue … there had been a recent driver update for Nvidia and this was throwing the error on Insync and other apps. Checking nvidia-smi might give pointers for those having similar issues. Rebooting should work if this is throwing messages such as “NVML version mismatch”

Hi @Shane,

I appreciate this feedback and update. Has the issue persisted further?
